Our story

Steel & Magnolia

The name says it: stubborn as steel, graceful as a magnolia bloom. That's how we farm.

Steel Magnolia Farms is a small, family-run operation on open Southern land. We raise pasture-raised chickens the old-fashioned way — moved to fresh grass daily, never given antibiotics or hormones, eating the way chickens were meant to eat.

We process in small batches a few times a year. That means you get genuinely fresh, flash-frozen birds at their peak — not commodity protein that sat in a distribution center for weeks. We vacuum-seal everything, which keeps quality for up to a year in your freezer.

Because we process in limited runs, availability is real and finite. When the harvest sells out, it's gone until the next one. That's the honest truth of small-batch farming, and we think it's worth it.

All orders are local pickup. We don't ship. That's intentional — it keeps things simple and keeps us connected to the people eating our food.
